Tidewave is the complete AI dev toolkit for full-stack Phoenix and Rails. It is a collection of tools that you use on your day to day to become more productive while using coding agents to build web applications. It includes:
Tidewave Toolbar: create prompts by pointing and clicking UI elements, build UI variants, and diagnose web accessibility and errors coming from your web application
Tidewave Connect: connect your coding agent to your browser for testing, debugging, and recording videos with captions, overlays, and narration
Tidewave MCP: connect your coding agent to your web framework, allowing it to run code, query your database, read the docs for your exact dependencies and more
Tidewave IDE: an agentic dev environment for Phoenix and Rails. It is an IDE that runs in the browser, allowing your coding agent to seamlessly interact with your web application. It is a separate product you may opt into using
To get started with Tidewave, follow the installation steps from the website and then configure your coding agent to use Tidewave as a MCP.
