mix dev.mta (sovite v0.6.0)

Runs the MTA on this machine, for development.

mix dev.mta --config path/to/sovite.toml
iex -S mix dev.mta

The config file is --config, else $SOVITE_CONFIG, else sovite.toml in the project, else development/sovite.toml. That last one is written on the first run, with settings for development:

  • data (database, queue, logs, admin token) in development/
  • SMTP on 127.0.0.1:2525
  • the web UI and admin API on 127.0.0.1:9025
  • mail for sovite.test delivered to Maildir folders in development/mail/, and all other mail relayed to 127.0.0.1:1025, where a mail catcher such as Mailpit can show it, so nothing is sent to the internet

It prints where it listens and the admin token for the web UI. Stop it with Ctrl+C. mix dev also runs the web UI's dev server.
