Qx.Error exception (Qx - Quantum Computing Simulator v0.8.0)
View SourcePlaceholder base exception for Qx library errors. Not currently raised by any Qx function.
Elixir exceptions do not inherit, so a rescue Qx.Error clause will
not catch the typed exceptions Qx actually raises
(Qx.QubitIndexError, Qx.GateError, Qx.ClassicalBitError,
Qx.QubitCountError, Qx.StateNormalizationError,
Qx.StateShapeError, Qx.MeasurementError, Qx.ConditionalError,
Qx.OptionError, Qx.QasmParseError, Qx.QasmUnsupportedError,
Qx.Hardware.ConfigError, Qx.Hardware.ExecutionError,
Qx.Hardware.NoMeasurementsError). To rescue any of those, list them
explicitly:
try do
Qx.run(qc)
rescue
e in [Qx.QubitIndexError, Qx.GateError, Qx.ClassicalBitError] ->
# handle
endThis module is retained for forward compatibility — a future major
version may introduce a rescue-all mechanism that raises Qx.Error
as well as the typed exception. Until then, expect zero exceptions
to match this type.
