Updates the metadata and configuration of a specific Redis instance. Completed longrunning.Operation will contain the new instance object in the response field. The returned operation is automatically deleted after a few hours, so there is no need to call DeleteOperation.

Parameters

  • connection (type: GoogleApi.Redis.V1.Connection.t) - Connection to server
  • projects_id (type: String.t) - Part of instance.name. Required. Unique name of the resource in this scope including project and location using the form: projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}/instances/{instance_id} Note: Redis instances are managed and addressed at regional level so location_id here refers to a GCP region; however, users may choose which specific zone (or collection of zones for cross-zone instances) an instance should be provisioned in. Refer to location_id and alternative_location_id fields for more details.
  • locations_id (type: String.t) - Part of instance.name. See documentation of projectsId.
  • instances_id (type: String.t) - Part of instance.name. See documentation of projectsId.
  • optional_params (type: keyword()) - Optional parameters
    • :"$.xgafv" (type: String.t) - V1 error format.
    • :access_token (type: String.t) - OAuth access token.
    • :alt (type: String.t) - Data format for response.
    • :callback (type: String.t) - JSONP
    • :fields (type: String.t) - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.
    • :key (type: String.t) - API key. Your API key identifies your project and provides you with API access, quota, and reports. Required unless you provide an OAuth 2.0 token.
    • :oauth_token (type: String.t) - OAuth 2.0 token for the current user.
    • :prettyPrint (type: boolean()) - Returns response with indentations and line breaks.
    • :quotaUser (type: String.t) - Available to use for quota purposes for server-side applications. Can be any arbitrary string assigned to a user, but should not exceed 40 characters.
    • :uploadType (type: String.t) - Legacy upload protocol for media (e.g. "media", "multipart").
    • :upload_protocol (type: String.t) - Upload protocol for media (e.g. "raw", "multipart").
    • :updateMask (type: String.t) - Required. Mask of fields to update. At least one path must be supplied in this field. The elements of the repeated paths field may only include these fields from Instance: displayName labels memorySizeGb redisConfig
    • :body (type: GoogleApi.Redis.V1.Model.Instance.t) -
  • opts (type: keyword()) - Call options

Returns

  • {:ok, %GoogleApi.Redis.V1.Model.Operation{}} on success
  • {:error, info} on failure
