General-purpose and symmetric: encode/1 serializes an AWSEventStream.Message; decode/1,2 incrementally parses a byte buffer into {results, rest}. Payloads are opaque bytes — see AWSEventStream.JSON for the optional Bedrock/JSON convenience layer.
